Creating Your Reality
We are always in the process of creating our own reality. From an operational, system dynamics perspective we can either create a reality that is asymmetrically past-based, asymmetrically future-based, or symmetrically present-based. How we use our operating system is directly responsible for which of these realities we create.
In tennis this translates to the fact that you can create the reality of your normal performance state or you can create the reality of your peak performance state. How you use your operating system (serial mode or parallel mode) determines the reality you create.
The reality you create is not actually about performance; your performance is a by-product of the overall interface you create with the tennis environment. If you interface with only the material dimension of the environment, then you will create a less than full-potential experience. How can you create a full-potential experience if you are not interfacing with the full potential of the environment?
You can’t.
In order to create a full-potential experience, you must first interface with the full-potential of the environment and that means interfacing with both the material and spiritual dimensions equally and simultaneously. That’s a parallel interface and it is the interface required to create the full-potential human experience.
So the full-potential experience is very definitely a creative experience. The fact that we are continuously creating our own experience on the tennis court means that we have the choice of creating a full-potential experience or an experience that is less than full potential…our normal, default experience, which seemingly chooses us, seemingly controls us, and is seemingly the right choice to make.
But this isn’t about right and wrong. Your created reality is the reality that you experience on the tennis court. It is neither right nor wrong. It just is. But at the same time you create one reality you do not create the opposing reality. One reality is, while the other reality is not. In other words, when you create a serial reality you will not experience a parallel reality. Likewise, when you create a parallel reality you will not experience a serial reality. A bit of a paradox, eh?
The point of all this is that you have a choice of which reality you create and experience. Your serial mode reality is your normal reality; the reality that you learn to create and experience from childood forward.
Your parallel mode reality is always there for you to create, but because you have spent most of your life learning to create the perfect serial mode reality, you have to relearn how to create a parallel mode reality. And that relearning process is not an easy task. It’s simple, but it’s not easy.
Learning to create the full potential reality of a parallel interface is made more difficult because it sounds illogical at first. But, because a parallel mode reality is in many ways the exact opposite of what you have learned to create as your only logical reality, this new and different reality will naturally seem illogical. Except, the more you experience a parallel mode reality, the more logical it becomes.
Question: What is illogical and logical at the same time?
Answer: The parallel mode reality you create with a parallel interface.
